A man's real enemies are not outside but within his own mind. The five major weaknesses of the human personality Kam(lust), Krodh(anger), Lobh(greed), Moh( attachment) and Ahankar(ego) are identified because of the obstruction they are believed to cause in man's pursuit of the moral and spiritual path. We all have them, they are inherent in us all. Eradicating them in entirety is not possible or practical. No one but we can help ourself to achieve that for us with our own efforts.
"Kabir says, only a rare person who is Awake (Aware, Alert, Conscious) of the onslaught of Maya (worldly attractions and their corrupting influences) can lessen the negative dominance of these five evils and their control of our mind."
