जब लगि है बैकुंठ की आसा, तब लगि नहिं हरि चरण निवासा II

Desire itself is a bondage no matter even if it is of 'Vaikunth' or Supreme Abode. You seek 'Vaikunth," you push yourself away from God Realization. Desire of Lord Hari is one thing while desire of 'Vaikunth' is yet another thing. It is the ceaseless wanting that keeps Lord Hari beyond reach. God Realisation comes true for he who says, O'Lord Hari, I want You and You only and nothing else, come what may.
And therefore Kabir says, we don't want 'Vaikunth', and if 'Vaikunth' is Liberation then we don't want Liberation. All we eagerly seek is the dust of His Feet, the True Liberation. Liberation will not come true if you desire it because Liberation itself is Desirelessness. Desire of Liberation is also a desire. Desire is a trap. Absolute Desirelessness is the True Liberation."
