चलन चलन सबको कहत है, ना जानै बैकुंठ कहां है I जोजन परमिति परमनु जानै, बातनि ही बैकुंठ बखानै II
The self serving religious scholars have been defrauding people for long by plundering them, selling them the fake or counterfeit Dharma and God for the sake their personal gains. They want people to remain ignorant, fearful and ritualistic. Kabir says, these so-called scholars even go to the extent of pinpointing the exact location of 'Vaikunth', the Supreme Abode on a map and give the detailed itinerary. They show where the heaven is, and where is hell. They talk about seven heavens and seven hells. They present Liberation as a package set between defined boundaries. Though experienced nothing, yet it doesn't deter them from talking about it as if they know every nook and cranny of it. Kabir says, 'Vaikunth' or Supreme Abode is beyond the realm of geography. It is not a place that can be pinpointed on a map. It is a journey within. The Liberation is not sought outside. It is the state of mind. It is living in the world but not of the world. It simply calls an end to the enslavement of the false ego-sense and Mayaic intellect. In other words, bondage is the conditioned mind attached to craving for enjoying the sense objects, and its abandonment is liberation. In essence, liberation is the total abandonment of all mental conditionings, without the least reserve."
