The two names — Sagun and Nirgun — are given to the same One Universal Energy, which is the subject of understanding, NOT the subject of blind faith. Both — Sagun (visible) and Nirgun (invisible or formless) cannot work without the other. Just as a coin has two sides, but that does not mean there are two coins. Coin is just one, but it has two sides. Similarly, Nirgun and Sagun are two sides or aspects of the same One Formless Universal Energy — none of the Creation is without Its Presence.The two names given to the same ONE ENERGY Although both the ocean and its waves are made of the same water, yet one is called the ocean and the other is called the wave. Similarly, although both the gold and gold-bracelet are one and the same gold, yet one is called the gold and the other is called the bracelet. Similarly any living being and God are no different, for they are the form and formless manifestations of the same divine life force that drives the world entire.
"Kabir says, any living being is both Sagun and Nirgun. Form and Formless. Yet it's the ignorance of "I am this body" that creates the illusion that God is a separate entity."
