"Kabir says, As we journey through life, we encounter countless experiences that shape our understanding of love. One of the most profound lessons we learn is what love should not feel like. This wisdom often comes through moments of disappointment, heartache, and reflection.
Love is not supposed to feel like a constant battle for validation. It should never make you question your worth or leave you feeling less than. Genuine love uplifts and reassures, it does not belittle or undermine.
Love is not supposed to feel like a one-sided effort. It thrives on mutual respect, care, and effort. When love is real, it flows naturally, with both people investing equally in the relationship. If it feels like you’re always giving and never receiving, that’s not love.
Love is not supposed to feel like walking on eggshells. True love creates a safe space where you can be your authentic self, without fear of judgment or reprisal. It allows for open communication, where both people feel heard and valued.
Love is not supposed to feel draining or exhausting. While all relationships require work, the effort should feel meaningful and rewarding, not like a chore. Love rejuvenates and brings joy, even in challenging times.
Learning what love is not supposed to feel like guides us towards healthier, more fulfilling connections. It teaches us to set boundaries, to cherish our self-worth, and to seek out relationships that honor and respect us. In the end, these lessons help us recognize and appreciate the love that truly enriches our lives."
