जैसे तिल में तेल है ज्यों चकमक में आग I
तेरा साईं तुझमें है , तू जाग सके तो जाग II

Because of the reeds and scum that cover the surface of a pond, one cannot see the fish playing in it; similarly because of the screen of Maya that shuts off God from human view, one cannot see Him 
playing in one's heart.

Kabir says, the oil is not visible by simply looking at the seed. It is only by the extra effort that the oil can be extracted from the seed. Similarly fire is not visible merely by looking at the flintstone, for the fire latent in the stone is ignited only as a result of vigorous friction.
Kabir reminds us to see the process of self-improvement as a sacred act of construction, building a sanctuary within ourselves where God can dwell."
