II श्रीराम जय राम जय जय राम II

काल करे सो आज कर, आज करे सो अब I
पल में परलय होएगी, बहुरि करेगा कब I

"This composition is a reminder that impermanence is a fundamental characteristic of all things. Everything that is born will eventually die. This includes our bodies, our relationships, our possessions, and our own lives.
Kabir is not saying that we should not care about anything or anyone. He is simply saying that we should not be attached to anything or anyone. When we are attached to things, we are more likely to suffer when they change or disappear.
The world is afflicted by death and decay. The wise person understands the nature of impermanence and does not grieve when things change or disappear. They accept that change is a natural part of life and they focus on the present moment. Live in the present moment urges Kabir, for the present moment is all that we have. When we focus on the present moment, we are less likely to worry about the future or regret the past.
Accepting impermanence can be difficult. Embracing it however we are more likely to experience true happiness and peace of mind."
