कबीर निरभै राम जपु, जब लगि दीवै बाति I
तेल धटै बाती बुझै, (तब) सोवैगा दिन राति II

"Kabir says, let your every breath associate with the sweet remembrance of 'Ramnam', for who knows the next breath could be your last. The wick draws oil into the flame to burn. However as the oil dries up the flame extinguishes. Similarly when the life force ceases, it's too late to lament over the precious time lost."
