कबीर सूता क्या करै, जागि न जपै मुरारि I
इक दिन सोवन होइगा, लम्बे पाँव पसारि II

"Kabir says, beyond the physical sleep, there is an another type of "sleep"; which is subtle, seemingly endless and dreadful delusion, the deception of Maya. In this horrific state of endless slumber are "asleep" the Jeeva (individual beings) of entire world for countless incarnations! It is this endless slumber from which Kabir urges us to awake and arise. This human birth is very rare thus precious. It does not happen again and again. It's most suitable for God-realization. Therefore, we must make the best use of this rare and wonderful opportunity to remain absorbed in the meditative repeatition of God's name instead of wasting it chasing frivolous material pursuits before it is too late."
