II श्रीराम जय राम जय जय राम II

जिहि हरि जैसा जानियां, तिनकौ तैसा लाभ I
ओसों प्यास न भाजई, जब लगि धसै न आभ II

The depth of one's understanding of God defines the level of his realisation of God. After having walked on the pathway for a long time, and through travails and turmoils of body and mind, of nature and society, the aspirant can envisage to himself certain landmarks, certain lamp-posts, which will help him to walk with courage and confidence on the pathway to God, and attain to the highest ideal he has been seeking. As he advances on his pilgrimage, visions of God, he attains more moral perfection. Subsequently this leads to more vision of God, and the entire process becomes an auspicious circle acquiring momentum both by aspirant's ascending efforts and God's descending Grace.

"Kabir says, its the dip in the water that quenches the thirst, not mere moistening of the tongue by the dew."
