It’s natural to turn to God when someone we love is sick, or we’ve lost a job, or the world has hurt us in one of its many ways. But when life is just … life — with few obstacles and little drama — it can be easy to take God for granted. "Kabir says, while we often take refuge in God in bad times, He is hardly remembered when the goings are good. There will be no place for sorrow in our life if we rejoice always and pray without ceasing, for God loves to hear from us just as much in the good times as He does when we are in need."
