By focussing on God Realization, the ultimate purpose of human life we are urged to orient our lifestyle towards this goal even while engaged in worldly activities. If one does not understand this significance and take appropriate steps to realise this objective of life here and now then there is no escape from repeated pain and delusion. Kabir further reminds us that our sojourn in the world is for a fixed time and hence it becomes imperative that this rare opportunity is not to be frittered away in experiencing mere sensory pursuits."
