हरिया जानै रुखडा, उस पानी का नेह I सूखा काठ न जानि है, कितहूं बुडा मेह II
"Kabir says, the water that makes a tree grow and blossom has no effect on a dry log of wood no matter the log remains immersed in water. Similarly the teachings of the Spiritual Master fall on deaf ears for the ignorant while for those who are ready to absorb it become enlightened."
