बहुत जतन करि कीजिए, सब फल जाय न साय I कबीर संचै सुम धन, अन्त चोर लै जाय II
"Kabir says, no matter how much wealth we may accumulate, in the end it is of no use, for we come in this world empty handed and depart no different. The wealth hoarded by miser becomes useless to him when thieves steal it."
