"Kabir says, just like stars are visible only in the night sky, not after the sun rises, the endless cycle of birth and rebirth is inevitable till one realises that the true purpose of this rare human birth is God Realisation. Darkness symbolizes ignorance. In this darkness of ignorance we mistakenly identify ourselves with the body that creates non apprehension of the reality, for it is this false ego sense that sinks us in the ocean of suffering. Light symbolizes Spiritual Wisdom, the greatest and lasting Inner Wealth, for only it can dispel the darkness of ignorance. This light of the Spiritual Wisdom is there within each one of us. It is only because our awareness is busy in gratifying our senses in the external world so much that we don’t wish to look within to realise it's existence within.
