कुटिल वचन सबसे बुरा, जारि करै सब छार I
साधु वचन जल रूप है, बरसै अमृत धार II

"In this composition Sant Kabirdas says, foul words are full of sufferings, for they turn the body into ashes. But the words of Saintly Beings are soothing like cold water that calm the mind by showering upon it Amrut,  the Divine nectar of immortality."
